Tool Kit: Keeping the Conversation Simple

Whether you’re an educator, student, politician, activist, concerned citizen (or any combination), the idea is when you’re heading into a water commission meeting, tweeting, teaching, conversing with friends, writing a blog, or posting on Facebook, keep it simple! The idea is the water is ours, not the exclusive domaine of lawyers, agency staff, or politicians. The “take action” here is that everyone in this state is an owner, we need to talk "fluidly" and with commitment about our water, and that our Trustees are accountable to us and our future generations first and foremost.

Tool Kit: Make a Video!

One of the coolest ways for the Public Trust to get the attention it needs is for us to express ourselves! Dance, sing, raise a ruckus. Get your camera or phone, shoot 60 seconds and upload to us. If you haven’t done the upload thing, no worries, see below. If you want assistance, email us and we’ll help you through it. We believe being an activist means helping other people be one too; it’s a big part of the solution.
